Great article on Tomshardware.com relating to SSD power consumption. I've already posted this in the eee-pc thread, but I feel it deserves a thread by itself.

I've been pretty dubious as regard the supposed benefits of SSD drives for some time, but I'm glad someone has finally done some in-depth research into it.
