    Anyone used the macwarehouse site to order before. Prices appear to be a hell of a lot cheaper than over here and the apple store .
    e.g. approximately €870 for a new macbook compared to €999 on the apple store or €1180 compared to €1799 on the apple store for a macbook pro.

    Does anyone know if they ship to Ireland?
    I've sent a query to see if they ship to Ireland but as they appear to be part of the DSG group which own Pc World, Dixons, Pixmania etc., i'm not expecting a speedy response.

    That MacBook Pro is an old model. The MacBook deal looks decent at first glance but if they're part of PC World I'd have a very close look before buying.

    Yeh realised the macbook pro was the model before the refresh but still a hell of a better deal that even picking up a second hand macbook pro on adverts.
    Got a mail back from them this afternoon and they do ship to Ireland, next day delivery is approx €30 but had already placed an order with misco.ie for a macbook for €910, again way cheaper than anywhere else over here.

    Keep in mind margin points for apple resellers vary from 3-7% on Apple products. Ie fook all.

    If you see a significant discount, somthing is up, unless its a previous gen model.

    Definitely not the previous gen models on misco, the 2.4ghz model is €120 cheaper than on the apple site here.
    Macbook pro €110 cheaper for base model, €150 cheaper for 17 model.

    Just looking at buying RAM, will this RAM be ok for use in a macbook, i've used the memory configurator tool on the site but it doesn't appear in the returned results list but appears to be the same as other resulst returned.

    I use crucial's search feature for all my RAM. You just select exactly what model computer you have, and it picks out the exact type for it. Works out a hell of a lot cheaper than buying it pre-installed in your mac
