Once-off shooting for a (near) noob

    Hey all,

Have had an interest in shooting for a while now. I'm into target shooting with airsoft guns (own a Beretta M92 and an AK-74), and have done a lottle shooting with live arms abroad (Glock, AK-47, and something not unlike the Tanaka M870). But I'm unlicensed.

I'm looking for a club that can offer shooting for probably one-off visitors. I'm not sure if this is even legal at the moment. I'm based in the North-East and around Dublin, so anywhere around there would be good. I'd prefer to go with pistols and rifles, but any firearm would be acceptable.

    Any help will be appreciated.

Courtlough (map) would probably be the most sensible option given your location.

Hilltop (map) would be another option.

Fantastic! These looks perfect, Courtlough especially, as I have a few friends from around there that would be interested in giving it a shot (sorry). Thanks very much for your help.

    No problem at all.

I was up there a few weeks ago having a crack at some clays and they're a nice friendly bunch.
