using Bluetooth GPS/Bluetooth Headset at same time?

    Hi,

I have a Nokia N95 which has GPS built in, but the reception is awful.

I'm thinking of buying a bluetooth GPS unit for the car, but i was wondering whether i can use it and a bluetooth headset at the same time or whether there would be a conflict?

    Any help is appreciated.
    Cheers.

Yup, the N95 can take multiple bluetooth connections.

If you plan on using the GPS the whole time, it would be better to pair the GPS with the phone and allow automatic connections, this way it will just kick in every time you sit in the car, most GPS units have great power saving features, so when it hears a bluetooth connection it comes back to life.

You should try and get a loan of a GPS unit and bluetooth off some people.

I have a seperate GPS module for my SE K850i and I have a bluetooth carkit, and if I remember when I received a call, the quality went way down as the GPS bluetooth had to share the bandwidth as the voice call, I could be wrong, will try and do a test this evening to confirm

I just tried it with my Se K850i and the voice quality is perfect.
So my setup is , a bluetooth receiver (bought from ebay fro 25e) an integrated bluetooth car kit (Parrot MK6100) and a Sony Ericsson K850i using the Nav4All Navigation software.
I made a voice call while the navigation software was running, and got no problems
