PSP games and ISO files

Can anyone help me, when it comes to normal computer stuff I'm fine but for the life of me I cannot understand the whole ISO CSO game file milark with PSPs. Could someone please run though how to get a damn cso game to work on my PSP. It would be greatly appreciated.
