Im 26 and have being out of work over a year and when i was working i was in and out of work more then anything the reason is that any time any mesing starts in a job i just leave as i was almost killed a couple of times when i was working for a very large company and the managment did not do anything.

It all started of as a bit of messing which turned violent over a few years i was only 17 when i start working there and the guy's were late 20's to eary 40's i would have tought by that age people would have grown up and have some sence

I dont no what to do my cv look's like crap as i have not being able to hold down a job one person i worked for said i can put down i was working there longer then i was that is the only way i can make my cv lok any good is by lieing

I am relly trying to put all the things that happened to me in the past and just get a job and hold it down i have applied to over 100 Apprenticeship's in the last few weeks and have not heard back from one i was told today that i was to old to start Apprenticeship that i should relly try get a diffent type of job as i will find it to hard because of my age.

And there was me thinkig because of my age it would be easyer to get an Apprenticeship as most people applying are only 17-20 year olds

Could you do a fas course instead maybe?
Maybe there is one that might interest you and help lead you in the direction of a career you might enjoy.

Good advice - get down to your local FAS office ASAP and discuss your options with them. As you have been out of work for a good while you will get a course no problem. As part of most courses you will have to find work experience and this is a good way to get your foot in the door of a company.
I would advise you to not focus on the past and events you can no longer change - everyone makes mistakes but you are still young and if you have the right attitude anything is possible.
