wireless set up options - too many!

    Lads, I'm moving from fixed wireless bb provider to UTv on DSL. Set up used to be linksys wrt54g wireless router (no modem) which worked grand in house I was in.

    Now in 1970s bungalow with very solid walls and many add ons over the years so is sprawling

    So do I...
    1 Get modem and hook up to above wireless router. Worry is that will not get coverage in house. Any recomendations on router?
    2 Get a new combined router/modem. Thinking of getting the G+ type. Not thinking of n type because as far as I know they will not work on g cards in of and laptop and are expensive. Are the g+ type worth it for and do they give you much more extra coverage and any recomendations?

    Are their options I'm missing? Main concern I'd coverage

    why two threads?

    any decent router with a wireless hub would do fine, my house is very similar and i get full coverage
    However i wouldnt recommend a belkin router, i just think their very poor.

    Once is enough to post your problem:mad: I have delted your other thread.

    It is impossible to predict the performance of any wireless equipment in a particular situation in advance.

    Your best bet would be to start with what you have and see what coverage you get.

    'N' equipment will work with G equipment but without the benefits of the N standard.

    When you get a feel for your new location something like this may be worth considering:
