A lot of southsiders seem to live their life through the OC.

Also remember that gaping, slack jawed idiot who had his 16th birthday on MTV?

Surely watching soap operas/ big brother is automatically doing this. Instead of living your own life, you are watching people engage in a pale imitation of real life.

Doctor Who now, that's real television :)

That made my head hurt. But yes, I do. I am constantly on the lookout for cylons, or "skin jobs" (from Battlestar Galctica) as I like to call them. Sure, we know most of the models, but there's one more out there.

Southsider? Dundalk's about 50 miles north of the liffey.
Ballymun's closer to the south side, than it.

    I dont watch T.V.
    Havent in about two years.
I'll download a few shows that I do watch...
    Topgear

I just cant stand the thought of litterally wasting hours of my life every day to something absolutly useless and not in any way productive.

    OT,
Do I live my life like topgear?
Well there is my collection of supercars that I race with my friends....

So yes... yes I do. :D

Nope - But I do know people who 'should' live their lives on countdown or a similar programme to teach them spellings, meanings and usage of words... ;)

1st Point: A lot of southsiders seem to live their life through the OC.

    And then there's:

2nd Point: Also remember that gaping, slack jawed idiot who had his 16th birthday on MTV?

    Two different and seperate observations!!

The Dun Laoghaire Coastline from Glenegeary reminds me of the OC coast.

A lot of young women seem to aspire to live a Sex and the City lifestyle. Which is a shame because they should be enjoying their actual life.....

programmes like Tricia and the Jeremy pile show bring home all the reality of dysfuctional family life ,failed relationships ,violent / selfish individuals etc and then you realise a large % are these people are being exploited specialy on the latter programme ,and some seem quite happy to do so to .Like hearing the neighbourhood gossip on live tv :)
