has anyone seen the metro this morning (a free daily newspaper in dublin)? theres an interview with evangeline lilly and she says that the programme will finish after the next season. i thought they were saying there was going to be at least another 3 seasons, rumours round the internet??
not that its a completly bad thing mind, the producers and writers need to know when the show will finish so they can wrap things up without leaving any loose ends.

As far as I know, they've been saying for ages that it'll end after the 5th season

There are 2 more seasons of 17 episodes each left. So there's a total of 34 episodes remaining. The 6th season will be the last. This was officially announced near the end of the 3rd season.
