xbox live suspended

    I have been suspanded from live for no apparent reason, one day I could go online and the next day nope, some crap about a payment problem, I just bought a pre paid card last week, further more to add to my confusion I can't sign in to update my profile, I'm just tryin to find out has anybody else been mysteriously suspended,

    Any info would be greatly appreciated

    Happened my friend and also myself.

    Both times it was because we had put incorrect details in for our home addresses of our Credit Cards.

    Took about 8 phone calls over 2 weeks to get it sorted.

    Yeah This just happened me.
    I had a US Account and my credit card worked fine up until yesterday.
    Now I am getting a message saying that my account had been suspended.
    I was told that I would have to buy a prepaid US card to reconnect to live.
    Both my Silver and gold accounts are suspended so I cant even sign in to redeem a code or update my payment method in the dashboard. :mad:

    Was on the phone yesterday and they were not a whole lot of help - will try again today.

    The most annoying part is that there is no way to change the account from america to ireland! I have rang them every few months to see if they can do it yet and still nothing.

    Yep - I used a hotmail address at first that was a US one and am stuck now.

    Hey guys I'm an Xbox ambassador :),

    To update your payment details log onto billing.microsoft.com and update your payment details there. Once you do that you can log back on

    Well I have a US account but an Irish credit card and it won't work.
    It used to accept my credit card but not anymore :(
    If you know a way around this please let me know.

    There is no way around it.
    Support won't help as creating an account with false details is against the Terms of Use. But as far as i'm aware you can't even buy content from the US Marketplace because if your IP is an Irish one then it won't let you download premium content

    And there is no way to transfer my details (Points/Achievements) to a correct Irish account?

    Edit: Do you know of anyway just to get my silver account active again?

    There is no way to transfer gamerscore or achievements to another profile. As far as I'm aware there is no way you can re-activate your silver US account

    Ended up getting a 13Mth one on E-bay for €29
