My first football for a while. Used Lightroom (really nice and simple to use) for the first time to make a few little tweaks. Most of them looked under exposed after I used the 1.4X extender for the first time.

Lovely shots, first really stands out and the last looks really painful if it connected

The first two are definate "newspaper" type shots, and work well.

The third one is the kind of shot i generally find more interesting than the ones the newspapers look for, good stuff.

Really like the first and last one. They look a little dull to me. Maybe you should just slightly boost the saturation and vibrance in the images.

    Nice captures, all the same.

    Nice images.
De Town won that, didn't they?
I'm supposed to cover drogs v Cork City FC in the eL Cup tonight.
This weather doesn't look very promising though.

    Thanks for the comments lads.

Didn't connect in the third one Borderfox, we even came away with the ball somehow.

I actually slid the vibrancy down a bit Paul, the blue in our shirt can be very strong. Tried to at least get them all the same.

Nice job - I really like the second one - the crop might be a little tight (imho) but the expressions are super.

Isn't Lightroom a peach? Have you tried version 2?

Thanks OOF, second is my favourite too. Crop is the best I could do. There is another Wexford player just to the left, and the top margin is the actual shot.

I have edited them and put some colour back into them now from the originals I posted.

Nice shots with a 1.4x TC, I must pick up the Canon one for my 300mm. Just my two cents, the colours to me look bang on.

What happened to the pink away strip that the Wexford Yoofs had?

Wallace probably got fed up of the abuse that they were getting.
