God damn it, someday I'm going to get there first! Well mobileMe is now supported I guess. And the usual security updates.

I'd hope this solves the frequent popping sounds when external speakers are connected that has been there since 10.5.2... those are doing my head in...

    Hi All,

Updated my Mac Book to 10.5.4. My wireless is not working . I deleted the files in the /Library/System Preferences/ related to nat, keychains and airport. I re-entered the WiFi details, still no luck.

Now back on Vista and stamping my message to the forum.

Anyone with similar issues and solution to this issue would help

    Thank you all

What kind of router do you have? Apple also just updated the firmware for the AirPort base stations and Time Capsule too:

    http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/timecapsuleandairportbasestation80211nfirmware732.html

However, this will do nothing for the built-in AirPort card so if you have a non-Apple router, it won't help. I upgraded to 10.5.4 last night and I'm having no problems (my router is the 802.11n AirPort Extreme).

I'm installing now. This is the full list of fixes:
    General

    Includes recent Apple security updates.
Resolves an issue with saving and reopening Adobe Creative Suite 3 files on a remote server.
Includes additional RAW image support for several cameras.
Addresses an issue that may result in a partially installed X11 application.
    Improves L2TP VPN client reliability.

    AirPort
Addresses AirPort reliability issues with 5GHz networks.
Addresses AirPort issues that may result in slower performance in Logic Studio or MainStage.

    iCal
Improves overall iCal reliability for meeting requests, cancellation notices, delegation, and syncing with iPhone.
Resolves an issue that prevents deleting an iCal event without notifying the creator.
Addresses an issue in which events in all calendars affect availability. A checkbox now enables information-only calendars to be transparent from free/busy lookups.
Resolves a UI issue preventing delegated calendars from showing up as a separate window.
Addresses an issue with copying and pasting attendees from one event to another.
Resolves an issue in which iCal may not delete events after a specified time interval, even when set to do so in iCal preferences.
Addresses an issue in which To Dos cannot be marked private.

    Safari
Addresses a potential performance issue when loading secure web pages.
Resolves issues that may be encountered when accessing secure web pages with client certificates that reside on a smart card.

    Spaces and Exposé
Addresses an issue in which switching from a space with a Finder window keeps the Finder as the active application instead of the application residing in the destination space.
Fixes an issue in which dragging an application from the list of application assignments in Spaces System Preferences does not assign the application to the desired space.
Resolves an Exposé issue that may result in only a subset of windows being shown.

Then that AirPort firmware update is not applicable - from the release notes Sad Professor posted, it does seem they slipped in updates for the AirPort card in there too, but I can't see why that would kill your Wi-Fi. Weird... sorry I can't help you out.

Do you hide your SSID by any chance? AirPort always seems to take a while to pick up on my network here (hidden SSID). Turning it off and on again usually gets things going.

87.6 MB download here. No problems noted, thank goodness.

Is there a "fuller" list of features anywhere? I'd like to know if they've added 256 colour support to the Nvidia drivers on the new iMacs.. I can't play Starcraft at the moment because the driver only does Thousands/Millions. :/

    @Ethernet

Yes, I do not broadcast my SSID, its hidden

    @Rest

My airport connection signal was acting like a synthesizer connecting and disconnecting to the Internet.

    LAN connection works perfect.

After 5 reboots on my Mac Book and deleting files mentioned files by the Macifixit website for the bug in 10.5.3. Now wi-fi seems to be working alright.

    Thanks for thinking here.

Not an issue here (iMac 2.4 GHz, Aluminium). Can cut in MS Office and Mail, only thing that I can't cut in is the browser (that's normal, as you can't interfere with someone else's webpage text!).

He means in the Finder, you never could. I've answered the question in another thread.

Hello! I was actually wondering where you'd been.

No problems here, but I don't use PS on the Mac (and rarely on Windows anymore). I finally ditched my Tiger backup the other day and no regrets so far.

    *waves to 440Hz*

Update went fine here. I am a bit cautious about them though (I've heard too many horror stories) and often wait a week. But tbh I've never really experienced any major issues. The main reason I wait is for the latest version of Saft to pop up.
