A friend won a seat on Pokerstars yesterday. Problem being he has the 10K on the site and needs to withdraw it fast to buy into the main event. Anyone any ideas what to do. Pokerstars suggested monygram anyone every used them?

Try asking on 2+2 if anyone in Vegas wants 10k on stars for cash?

Put the money onto his credit card? pay for the main event with the CC.

But would the cheque not take a few days to cash. When's the last day to signup for the WSOP?
I was thinking the credit card route. How long does withdrawal to CC usually take

Does he use 2+2? Perhaps he could arrange to transfer it to a high stakes players account in exchange for cash in vegas?

Never used 2+2 before but might give it a go although he's a bit weary of that route.
    Thanks everyone

Well, if he uses one of the well known guys there's little chance they'll rip him off. He could even arrange it, go over and they could do the swap in person (i.e meet up and transfer the money together, then the guy gives him the 10k).

Make sure he's aware that if he manages to cash it before he goes, he'll have to declare it going into the US if he has it on him.

Yeah possibly but if they do it in person and he explains the urgency, could even get a pokerstars rep to them about it they might do it
