FAI block booking scheme

I'm after returning from a long stint abroad to find out that I was offered a place on the FAI block booking scheme for home matches in advance of the Serbia game and for all the up coming WCQs.

Given that I was abroad and unaware, I obviously missed the deadline to accept the offer.

Has this or anything similar happened anyone else here? Do you reckon there is any chance of them letting me back in so I can get tickets to all the WCQs?

    Any ideas?

I'd say they'll deffo let you back in, there's some problems with the scheme, and they are having to finance it themselves.

You do know it works out at about two hundred quid a ticket, don't you?

You must have money to burn.

In the offer that I received prices start at €50 for competitive games and €40 for friendlies. Hardly prohibitively expensive.

I emailed them and they said I was "put on file if anything comes up", but given it's the FAI, I'm not filled with confidence.

My mate got two allocations for Slovakia + 5 qualifiers at 55 for the Slovakia game and 70 or 75 for the qualifiers.

Yeah you should be alright. Just ring them up and explain. The ticket office are usually sound enough about things like this
