    Hi all,

I have an interview for CO job on Friday. Just wondering if any one has any tips, what do they look for, any generic Q&A's etc? I'd really apreciate any help as i havent been for an interview in a few years and am a little nervous:(

    Speaking of clerical officer jobs...

Did anyone else notice the difference in recruitment methods between
    local government (councils)
    and
    central government (civil service)

In the former you send in a CV, do an interview when they discuss your CV and the job.

In the latter you do a test, and if its bad you never get an interview, so you could have a Phd, and 20 years experience in X but if you don't pass the test they never even find out.

Anyone know how the Civil Service let you know if you're successful?

I had an interview for temp CO last friday and they gave a pretty vague indication that I'd told within a week or two. Just wondering is it a letter, a phone call, your publicjobs account?
