Intel AMT disabling

    does anyone know how to disable AMT on a dell optiplex 740. youre supposed to get into the bios extension memnu by hitting ctrl p on boot but theres no option for it when i boot and I cant see anything to do with it in the bios.

    No Im not I assumed it was cause I got a workaround for loosing network connectivity from our tech support people. Also assumed theyd know what models were using. Guess they just made an ass out of u and me.

    The 740 uses an AMD chip with an nVidia chipset, doubtful whether it would support Intel AMT.
