Tax Related Issue & Wages Question

I was just wondering I have been in employment for almost a year now..... I have my PRSI Number etc.... I phoned the local Tax Office recently to find out about my PAYE & Stuff, they told me on the phone that I do not exist on there books as I have not filed any PAYE or Tax related documents yet.

I approached my boss about this who then gave me a Form 12A to fill in, that was almost 2 months ago but yet the Tax Man still doesn't know me...

I dont get a payslip and I want to know what can I do or were do I stand.

Basically I am being taxed every week but the tax is not being paid.

    Thanks

Your employer is breaking the law by not giving you a payslip.

The whole situation sounds dodgy and you should contact

    Hmmmm.........sounds bad.

Have you checked your status using the Contact Locater on www.revenue.ie. Just go to 'Contact Details'.

Key in your PPS (a.k.a. PRSI) number, it should give you a contact telephone number, could try ringing them....You have to be on Revenues system somewhere, if you have been issued a PPS number.
