PS3 Games - a cheeky bargin

Hi all,
Smyths are doing a trade in 2 PS3 games and get a new one free.
So I popped into HMV and bought Blacksite and Stranglehold for 16.99 each.
Brought them back and got Battlefield Bad Company Gold Edition ...
Repeated the same steps with a different member of staff and picked up top spin 3
So basically any new PS3 Game for 34 euro whohooooo hehehe

if its the same deal as Gamestop, be careful. They only accept new-ish games as part of the deal.

I remember I went in with CoD3 last xmas and they turned me down. But I know a m8 of mine was able to trade it in and get the deal no prob with a different member of staff. He got lucky I guess

Maybe worth asking what games qualify before buying them.
At least then you'll know what's acceptable.

Interesting, do the trade in's at smyths have to be worth a certain amount like in gamestop, or can it be "any" 2 ps3 games ?

They have to reach a certain value but they accept most games..

I checked today and the games have to be of a certain value. They would not accept Formula One as part of the deal (which is fair enough because its fairly old), but offered me €4 for it:(. There are only certain games they will take so it's a bit misleading if you ask me.

Go into HMV and pick up both those games for 34 euro ...go to smyths and exchange ...simple
