Looking for a new fix of macha anime.

    So far have seen:

Full Metal Panic (season 1), Fumoffu (season 2), 2nd Raid (season 3)
    Ghost in the Shell - Seasons 1 & 2 \ 1986 Movie \ Innocence \ Solid State Society
    Gundam Wing 00 - Season 1 (can't wait for Season 2)
    Mobile Suit Gundam Wing
    Neon Genesis Evangelion

Never got into Full Metal Alchemist.

Have watched some of "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann" so I'll probably get around to watching the rest of that.

On a side note, I also saw Death Note, so may watch something along that genre, but dunno. Mainly looking for mecha stuff.

Definatly, definatly finish watching Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann!

    You could try :
    Code Geass
    Escaflowne
    The old Macross stuff
RahXephon (Didnt think this was up to much though.)
    Heroic Age
    Bokurano

Theres also an ocean of Gundam shows to watch aswell.

You could also try Demonbane, its a Mecha anime but unlike some iv watched it doesn't get too technical or in depth regarding Mecha itself or political issues (almost all mecha anime iv seen has some sort of political agenda of some sort behind it!). It's only 12 or 13 episodes long so worth a watch for a quick fix

Eureka Seven or what others have alreadt mentioned.

    Id highly recommend Escaflowne too.

I agree with most of the above.

Heroic Age, Escaflowne and Code Geass I would personaly suggest though.

Any idea on when the second season is set to air?

Looks like a job for me.

    Essential viewing:

    New Getter Robo
    Getter Robo Armageddon
    Gunbuster/Diebuster
    0079 Mobile Suit Gundam Movies
    The Big O
SDF Macross: Do You Remember Love

    Also:

    Giant Robo OVA
    Armoured Trooper VOTOMS
    King of Braves GaoGaiGar
    Mazinkeiser
    Re: Cutie Honey
    SDF Macross
    Macross Plus
    Macross Frontier
    Turn A Gundam
    G Gundam
    Aura Battler Dunbine

I'd recommend Big O for anime Batman and EVA style head****s, Getter Robo for god oldschool Super Robot fun, mixed with insanity and ultraviolence. I'm more into Super Robots though, if you prefer more realistic mecha action then Gundam, Macross, Code Geass, VOTOMS Patlabour are a good bet. VOTOMS and Geass actually have somewhat realistically feasible mecha, where Gundam borders on super robot.

on the sci-fi side of things theres also Outlaw Star, and Cowboy Bebop. Big-O is also good if you're mad into giant robot death.

With giant robot mecha it falls loosely into 2 categories; super-mecha (Evangelion, G Gundam) and battlemechs (Gundam 00, Wing, Gundam Seed) I'm much more a fan of the latter and the former really doesnt grab me as much. Another good series to watch (short but good) was Gundam: The 08th MS Team - the best part for me being
a very unforgettably epic battle with a ZEON Gouf
