    Thanks.

Its "HD Ready" as opposed to Full HD, and the analogue tuner may have problems picking up some Irish transmissions (I assume there is a digital tuner built-in, but am unable to find specifications as it end-of-line).

It is a decent panel, with a crisp clear picture- as a monitor it would be really nice, as a TV, I'm not so sure......

Anyone going for this offer ?

On the end of the specs it has "Warranty: Samsung factory warranty" anyone know how long samsung warranties are and if they are pan-european. Meaning if it broke do samsung have a repair place here or is it a case of shipping it back to where it came from??

    Thanks

I plumped for this offer, it arrived today, delivered by Interlink.
Haven't had a chance to hook it up yet.
Fingers crossed it'll work out well.

I ordered one as well, but no sign of it yet -- order still showing as "processing", and customer service ignoring my emails :-(

I'm greatly relieved to hear that at least someone has received it! Any chance you could check your online order status and see if it's still "processing" or has changed to "shipped" or "delivered"?

Ring them, normally get through straight away. Ask for the tracking number and you can track it online then. They dont tend to update the account progress.

It takes them months to update the order status on the website- I'm still looking at something as "processing" that was delivered last November.

    Their phone no. is: 0031 20 6811 388

    Hi Tenshot
    see my order status below.
I called the number last week, they were able to give me a tracking number, you could then call Interlink with the tracking number. Best of luck!

My mate had one of these and it's not great. Picture quality on SD sources (Sky+) is poor. HD images are improved but not nearly as good as the Toshiba they also have. Good price, yes. Good purchase, definitely not.

I see Dixons are advertising in the papers (all this week)
    - a very similiar model (32A456) for €599.99 / was €629.99 / was €729.99

is there any difference between the 32A450 and the 32A456?

Samsung 32 inch HD Ready LCD TV
    DNIe: DNIe +
    3 x HDMI
    contrast ratio 10,000 : 1
    SRS Trusurround

A456 is a newer model, with some better picture processing (and also a better contrast ratio). They're pretty good!

My own iBood story ended up with me cancelling the order yesterday; they had originally discovered a mistake in the delivery address (on their part, not on my part) which meant the courier company couldn't deliver it. By the time they got it all sorted out, the TV was on its way back to Holland, due to arrive today. It would have then taken a minimum of another five days to deliver it back to Ireland again.

I bought a Sony 32" Bravio for €580 in a well-known local electronics store instead yesterday evening - a bit more pricey, but the intended recipient will appreciate the Sony brand.

I found (as mentioned above) that phone was the only useful way to deal with iBood. They were helpful & friendly (if not terribly effective) and did ring me back at least three times to give me status updates, which was something, though they seem to have very little visibility of what is going on with orders -- they're all handled by a third party fulfilment/logistics company.

On the final call yesterday, the iBood customer support guy said that they will be shortly be able to show the airbill number associated with a dispatched order online through their website, which should make this sort of screw-up much rarer, and easier to catch early.

So while I'm not very impressed by my first iBood order, I may give them another chance in a few weeks.
