    Reg poster, unreg for this.

Met this girl over a month ago, and got off with her a few times. Asked her out on a date and went to cinema and drinks after, went really well and went on another date recently (shes mad into football :D) so we went to watch the match and some drinks. Also went really well. :) Heading out again on thursday, and no idea what to do next. Meal would seem to formal, what might be good is a quiet night in with dvd/take away, but we both still live at home so cant do that.

    Any ideas boardsies?

    Thankies :P

How about keeping it simple with a nice walk or something? Or bowling, could be a laugh?!

Dont take her to bingo :D

Comedy - easy to chat during breaks and even during the show, plenty to laugh about afterwards.

    Ooh, that's a great idea.

Maybe picnic in the day and then the comedy thing at night. Perfect. I'd looooove that.:)

Seems to me bingo would be a brilliant, fun, 3rd date!

Informal, unexpected and unforgetable. Do it.

Comedy club is a great idea guys. But commute to Dublin is over an hour in the car, and that might be a bit wierd for a third date, thinking of stuff to say in the car? I dunno, maybe I am wierd, but I imagine it being arkward.

A girl that likes football, that is like a dream come true for most guys (myself included). I agree with the Bowling response, that sounds like a lot of fun. Nothing wrong with a few drinks and a nice chat, always a good one!! A lot of options out there. How about swimming, archery, horses etc. All great options, the outdoors. Rent a couple of mountain bikes out and go cycling, or better still rent out a couple of horses and go on a trail. The list is endless OP. Good luck.

hi a date idea that went down a storm with a girl i know was the dater showing up to the datee with roses and a chilled bottle of champagne and a picnic for beside a lake. now that is a man with class and taste, and will make a solid impression.

don't go too casual. girls like to be impressed - and gestures are far better than any words.

You could try a Teppanyaki meal... where they do all fancy throwing it around etc. It's about 35 quid each, the food is SPECTACULAR and it's a great laugh!

Try Yo Thai in Dublin if that's where you're based. you can also avoid awkward silences with this. I love it... Then pub/comedy etc from there!

Reminds of one of my first dates with my other half.... Its lovely up on the summit... So romantic

Failing that a trip to the bowling alley...... A good laugh and not too full on!

yeah great spot. a real deal sealer. ha ha. just kidding. bowling can be quite awkward if either one of you are better than each other. and only lasts like an hour tops if you are lucky. i would have a fall back

Ah it is. I love it and we still regularly head there.... The chips are lovely in that chipper near the pier.....

Bowling can be a good ice breaker..... I always think its fun and everyone is dreadful at it!
