Airports and Hard Drives

    I'm off to Portugal next week, and we are bringing the laptop, so we were thinking of bringing along our portable hard drive as well, to play media off as the laptop hard drive is too small to just store the stuff we want to watch on[only like 13gigs].
    However, have some content that I acquired from my 'american cousins' on the hard drive, is there any chance it would be searched at the airport?

    you should be fine, I had a lot of *ahem* stuff my american friends sent me on my laptop when I went to the states last month, didn't search it or anything... you'll be fine anyhow as long its theres no dodge hardcore Pr0n etc...

    Been reading online, and while can't find any cases in Ireland, a lot in America of poeple getting caught with crap like this. Think I will copy the stuff I want from my hard drive to my iPod hard drive and just bring the iPod and the laptop, handiest and safest thing prop.
