    Hi all.

Just wondering. I have lots of playlists and I need to email them to a client to look at and choose songs that they wish to have played.

I've tried exporting the list but It does not work for me.

Can I take the playlist and have it as a Word file for me to email it to them?

All suggestions welcomed and thank you in advanced.

itunes keeps 2 copies of the library in the your itunes folder.......a standard copy and an XML version of it

make a copy of the XML copy and do with it as you please......i'd recommend using excel

Hi Babypink, thanks for the fast response.

I copied the XMl version onto the desktop. When i open it with Excel it tells me that there a Strict Parse Error, when i press ok it tells me its not a valid XML spreadsheet and tells me to open it as a txt file, which of course looks like root filing lists etc etc and not what i need.

Is this an issue with the file or something else?

k.......here's the über low-tech method so

    - go to your desired playlist in iTunes
    - select all track in the list
    - cmd + c
    - go to excel
    - cmd + v

presto....you should now have a manageable spreadsheet

Another way i like to do it is, go to your playlist and choose File>Print. select Song Listing and then click Print. when the print box comes up then select PDF>Save As PDF and then just email that PDF over.

you can mess around with the different listing views to see which one suits you
