Viking Ship Departure

The Viking ship left Dublin today - I didn't manage to get a decent picture of it but here are a few shots which I took today. This was my first time taking pictures of people / gigs. I am not sure which crop is better here - any advice would be great!

i prefer the close crop of the dogs head

Im going to go for the second one, with the whole dog in the shot. I would like the first one better, but the DOF is slightly too much and the background is a bit to well defined. Just my opinion though.
