Anyone a Hawley fan? He's apparently playing Leisureland in Galway on 14th of July?? Is this even possible? Is it even a venue

yup, saw him in vicar st in February and he was absolutly savage. Leisureland is an occasional venue, but i thought the gig was on in some hotel. Either way, if you've a chance to go see him, go see him. He's one of the few acts i've ever seen who sounds better live than on record, and considing how good 'Ladys bridge' sounds, that's really saying something. He plays like a demented Hank Marvin, and i mean that in a good way. I still think of the way he did the riff on 'Dark Road' and a shiver goes up and down and up and down my spine!

Sounds like this is part of the Galway arts festival.

He's also playing the Earagail Arts Festival in letterkenny on July 13th.
