error booting up

    my laptop installed vista service pack 1 2day, i also did a virus scan.

    they both said i needed to re-start my laptop after they were finished, but i continued on with what i was doing.

    so that was earlyer 2day, now i open my laptop and it starts scanning files and goes through them all. goes 0/68864 (or something like that) up to number 5721/68864 and stops and shows this on the screen:


    !! 0xc0190036 !! 5721/68864 (mshwdeu.dll)


    Its flashing every 2 seconds or so, what is going on???? everytime i turn it off and back on it happens????

    ok never mind i managed to get it 2 restore 2 just b4 i installed the service pack THANK FOOOOK

    It was your own fault anyway. You're supposed to restart after inserting a service pack... don't muck it up with viruscans and stuff... Just install the pack.... finish that install, then do a virus scan...
