Suggestions?

I haven't cycled for years and I intend to get back to it very soon. I need a sturdy bike for urban cycling; I am 17 stone and need a strong bike? Where do I start.

I won't say "money is no object" but I am willing to spend €300 to €400 to get the right machine.

    Any suggestions would be helpful.

    TIA

I would get a hybrid, something like a Dawes Discovery, Trek 7.1 FX, Specialized Globe, Giant CRS. 17 stone should not be a problem for most of these sort of bikes.

Someone on here was looking to sell a Giant Escape M recently IIRC- this would also be very suitable.
