driving test confirmation

    hi guys,
    i applied for the test and got my letter telling me the date/time/location and all that lark, but idiot that i am i forgot to ring or text to confirm with them(i was distracted by college finals!)
    I was reminded by a mate eventually and texted straight away and got my confirmation text reply....but my question is this; the letter says you need to text/call 5 WEEKS before the test, while i did it 3 weeks before....since i still got my reply text am i still in the game??
