How many bank accounts do you have? (excluding those you use for medium to long term savings).

Do you have a current account that your salary goes into and then just have all your direct debits, standing orders coming from it? Using it for your ATM and Laser too?

Or do you use a separate account for direct debits and stuff?

Current account which has salary in, mortgage, bills, direct debits out - which has the standard BOI Laser/ATM card
Have standing order each month from c/a to account at First Active for Savings.

I use my current account for myself ,everything else from a savings account.
I only ever have a couple of hundred euro in the laser account ,I use the savings account as a funnel for my other accounts.

If anything ,it makes things that little bit safer for me as my current account is the only one that is offline.

I've 4. Current, savings, another savings account(which I must close as I never use) and a rabodirect account.

Never keep more than €200 in my current account. Once my monthly wages go into my current account, it's all transferred to my savings account and then I give myself a wage out of it each week. Means if my ATM card is robbed/cloned, I'll never lose more than €200
