New TV - IDTV (?)

    Hi All,
    I just got a new TV (Model LGB-19DZT). I actually was not aware of what the IDTV fully stood for.

    Anyway, it looks like I'm getting a small number of channels in HD(?) Digital via my Terrestrial Ariel. Can that be possible in little Ireland?

    I got RTE1/Net2/TV3/TNaG only - the rest are there but will not display.

    I guess my question is really - I was planning to get Sky HD or a HD DVR Dreambox, but with this TV it has a Common Interface slot - do i need a separate box now or.....?
