    Hi,

I was out photographing a few cyclists this morning and i have a couple of good shots. however, i also have a few (which could be good) where parts are in focus but cyclists unfortunately are out of focus.

i have these images in both raw+jpg, so can i do anything in photoshop CS3 to correct this ?

Depends how OOF it is... generally, no, but you can do a bit of work on it if you really had to, using high pass filters.

Nothing will get it back into focus completly though.

    Not really.

I have done a bit of cheating in PS when I had a bird slightly out of focus. I went in & "rebuilt" the eye which made it look in focus. When it was sharp the rest was not noticable.

You could try to do some Sharpening, but it will only help a bit.

Maybe post an example of one of the images & let people have a look?

Try using an image sharing site like flickr or photobucket, there's a few others out there too :)

Hmmmm. I reckon there's too little depth of field to work with I'm afraid :(

I think the focus makes the picture tell a whole other story.
The guy in the high vis jacket looks really out of place, like he's the guy nobody likes who just tags along :D
Makes me laugh in my head... I reckon there's an 80's movie in there somewhere.
    Keep it!

yea, Looks a bit too bad to fix.
I recently shot a confirmation, two children, two shots :p ... One, out of focus, other eyes closed on one, so Took eyes, placed them over in PS... Looks in focus, printed fantastic, same as someone said about the bird above,

I know It takes up alot, but always take a few shots, you will be greatful when you need it.
