Carrick-on-Suir and Waterford are in shooting distance (don't forget the gun). Not much around Piltown, a barn and breakfast is about 12 quid or milk the cows for that day.

piltown is a fairly quiet little village, it has one pub, one chipper and a local supermarket, londis i think. the next nearest town would be portlaw across the bridge, and carrick would be five min drive towards clonmel. not too sure about renting situation, theres a good few new houses gone up recently, the agricultural college is located there so prob not too hard to get people willing to rent.
