Philips/Ch.4 problem

    Has any one else with a Philips STB noticed a problem with channel 4?
    Last Saturday I noticed that after tuning in to this channel, the video would drop out after a few seconds. The sound remained, the text would load as normal, but no video. I tried retuning auto and manually, even resetting to factory defaults, but the issue remained. I discovered that there has been an ongoing problem with this since the beginning of June in the UK (there's a thread on this over on D.S.). I contacted Philips customer care via e-mail and they told me that I could return the product for replacement/refund if I wish or wait for an OTA software fix which they are currently testing. I checked the receiver this morning and Ch.4 is working normally again (hur-hey)! But (and there's always a but isn't there) now 4+1 is doing the same thing, guess your software fix didn't work lads!. As there's only a couple of weeks of the warranty left to go, I think I'll take it back to the shop for a refund. (now where did I put that receipt)!
