Was in Clarks in Arnotts yesterday and they have a large selection of girls shoes at half price, not so much of a boys selection but the girls they have runners, sandals, dressy shoes, school shoes...just have to find the right size

popped in to Grafton st as I was passing today, total madness, tried to buy two pairs of shoes and this took nearly 30mins and then they did not seem to be able to find the right sizes so enough was enough and I walked.

Was not impressed by what they were saying about no returns or refunds without the box (even though there was a good chance the goods could be faulty...)

    Not a bargain imo

If the goods are faulty, you can return any product that was sold to you, as long as it is not specifically marked that is being sold "as seen". If it is not of merchantable quality, consumer law gives you the right to bring it back.

What they are saying here (but perhaps not making it clear) is probably that you cannot bring back a perfectly good pair unless they are in a condition that allows them to be sold again.
