    Please help guys and gals! there's a tune stuck in my head for weeks now and I can't find the name to it anywhere, apart from humming the tune the only words (disjointed)I have to it are: Oh Doctor, oh Doctor oh dear Doctor.... if i live to be a hundred or a hundred and ten...... Can anyone please help??!!

    Sounds like "Johnny jump up" but without the Doctor references.

    Yep sonds like Johnny Jump Up. Christy Moore has a version of it on his boxset.
    Think the bit you're referring to goes like this
    "Oh never, oh never, oh never again
    If I live to a hundred
    Or a hundred an ten
    For I fell to the ground
    And I couldn't get up
    After drinkin a quart of the Johnny Jump Up"

    The Dubliners used to do a version called "Cod Liver Oil" and also Jimmy Crowley the Corkonian balladeer did a version called Johnny Jump up about cider aged in old whiskey barrels............
