Remote Keyboard?

    Is there such a thing?

I am not referring to a simple Wireless keyboard. Wireless keyboards can only control your PC / HTPC and devices wired through the HTPC. I guess I am looking for a wireless keyboard that can also interact with other devices in the room that's not connected to the PC - a bit like wireless keyboard + Logitech Harmony remote. Anyone heard of anything like that?

    Cheers!

I spent a while looking around for one that I liked and came up with this one:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00131TDGC
It's bluetooth and the track ball (mouse-ish feature) is excellent. Feels great in your hands.

Thanks divil_a_bit, that looks very good. Is that fullsize keyboard, or is it laptop size? Also I don't it controls other (non-HTPC) devices does it? (like universal remote controls for instance..). Thanks again!

what over devices do you hope to control in your living room with a keyboard? there isn't much else that you need to type with except a PS3 or Xbox

I got a logitech dinovo mini and they are really cool. really small as well and you can connect it to a PS3.

The sky box (for obvious reasons), an Yamaha amp (volume, radio etc on its own remote), and of course the TV (aspect radio, switching input sources etc).

mediacentre.ie, the diNovo mini looks brilliant, but as with others, it doesn't control any other devices!

Why wouldn't Creative build the brains of their Harmony remote into this diNovo mini? :D

so it would be like wireless keyboard with a programable IR output to control other devices.

I would be amazed if such a product exsists. It would be handy with most set top boxes but I suppose most people make do with remotes.
