    Hi

I am working full time as a mechanic in a garage in Dublin. Have just finished my apprenicship and am looking to further my education in a night college course. I have been looking at this course
    http://www.dit.ie/DIT/study/parttime2007/programmes/dt068.html
I would be starting in the intermediate stage so it will be a two year course for me, 3 evenings the first year, and 4 the second year.
I am wondering if anyone has done this course or can recomend any similar courses. Does anyone have any more details on the content of this course? Is this a good qualification to have or is there better courses to look at?
Also what sort of hours are involved? I work 5 days a week so how many extra hours a week would be involved?

    Any comments appreciated

    Kevin

    EDIT
There is some more information here
    http://www.dit.ie/DIT/engineering/mechtransport/transport/evening_motor.html
Looking at B177 Technological Certificate in Automobile Engineering but it does say that the course is €565 per stage where as the other page says 1005 euro so maybe these courses are not the same?
