MS exchange server.. how to set it up??

    just use a gmail shared calendar?

    exchange is way way overkill for this

    Google calendar is exactly what u need, all open gmails and just share calendars. Use it myself for work.

    I was assuming there was an Exchange server in place. Half asleep at the moment.

    Setting up an exchange server is non trivial and it sounds like overkill for your needs.

    I assume you mean by HTC you mean their windows mobile devices? If so active sync is what you want to look at here. It ties in with outlook very nicely.

    You can sync up all outlook aspects via USB, Bluetooth or pay a small fee to allow syncing over the mobile network(companies provide custom APN settings).

    Perhaps a blackberry and Desktop redirector is the way to go.

    Why is everyone recommending google apps? Does it sync with any hand held devices?
