    I've recently got married (january) and spent all my holidays for 08 on my honeymoon.
    Can anyone tell me am legally entitled to any extra days due to the fact that I got married ??

    Its a long shot I know, but I thought I'd ask anyway !!

    i doubt it, teachers get some extra days, you will have to check your contract of employment to be sure

    depends on company.

    afaik, there is no legal eason why you should have extra time off.

    Ask your company. If you work long hours, they might allow a few extra days holidays as a kind of compensation. You never know.

    They may also be up for allowing you to take unpaid leave.

    It's not the best option, but one or two unpaid days off may be preferable to six months without a break!

    some companies allow you to take from next years allowance upto a certain amount (all depends on the length of your employment) - usually companies will offer some flexibility as you have a good excuse even if it means unpaid leave
