I'm pretty sure there was a thread on about these here a while ago. Somebody got in contact with the manufacturer and ordered a bulk load. I think they were happy with them.... anybody got more than that (very) vague recollection...?!

    http://www.photosol.com/swabproduct.htm

    this looks very reliable ...

anyone used this one ? -- i see some negative reviews about dust aid
on the other thread .. but this cleans the "welded" dust...

That's the lad I use alright Jackdaw. I used to have access to a clean room in my old workplace but I just do it on the window sill with some lint free wipes as a clean base for working on.

The instructions there , apply 2 drops and wipe in one direction continous motion ... then turn the swab around and do the same ..

but do i need to re apply the drops on the other side ?

or is the idea to do it again with a dry swab ?

This should clear things up :) Although i usually put the drops on the apex of the swab, and there's also another video from Photosol that shows them doing it that way.
