    lads after some advice a friend of mine is getting rid of 2 air rifles ;
    1. BSA meteor .177
    2. diana g 80 .22
    both are fairly old but are in good order. my question is which is best for magpies and crows ? any Ideas??

    I use a .22 anslutz rifle, not air, bullets...But It is fantastic for crows, not sure about the other one.

    neither are great guns but the .177 will fly flatter than the .22 and with accurate shooting is more deadly at 12 FT/LB which is what most guns coming into Ireland are set to.

    I use a .22 anslutz rifle, not air, bullets...But It is fantastic for crows, not sure about the other one.

    Their for use in sheds where my .22lr is too powerful at ranges of 15-20 meters.
