Well I've never heard anything good about Laptops Direct, so I don't think I'd use them if they are one and the same.

They are the worst place to deal with, customer service is straight up rude to the point they keep bouncing you back an forth with sales. The sales people are straight up liars! and even bad mouth fellow salesmen. They even tried to get more money out of me on the phone, when I could have bought on their website for about 50 euro less. STAY AWAY FROM THEM and laptopdirect.ie (same company).
