PolyA genetic modification event; alternative names?

    Hey all,

    I need to suss out exactly what genetic event/category of events is associated with polyA?

    This is a work thing and I'm currently trowling AgBios in an attempt to find some info, but this is a new area for me so any help would be much appreciated.

    polyA like as in the tail attached to RNA during transcription in eukaryotes?

    (that's polyA like in the bitty attached to the stuff copied off dna to make proteins in plants and animals?)

    I don't think it's associated with that, but some genius gave the event the same name. But I think I'm sorted, found a whole mess of events it specifically intropduces, now all I have to do is figure out what that list means about the category :D

    oh and I'm hungover, this plan cannot fail!
