Primary Education Degrees Help!

    I'm looking some advice on Primary Teaching.
    Can anyone recommend a good college to go to? I applied this year to St. Pat's and was called for interview but due to personal circumstances I couldn't go but neglected to let the college know and am afraid if I reapply next year I'll be snubbed! stupid of me i know :o
    Would it be a better idea to get an ordinary BA first and then go for a HDip?
