Robert Redford is coming to Trinity to do a public interview on July 10th. Should be good to hear him talk about everything from acting and directing to his environmentalism and politics.

Its being run by the School of Drama,Film and Music in Trinity, he's appearing at 5.45pm on July 10th. They've no web page on it but they emailed me and all other undergrads an address to apply for free tickets. They say in the email that its a "Public Interview" but as there is nothing on their website I'm not sure how public it is.

Could you pm the address as I'd be interested in going. thanks.

I applied for tickets cos I'm sure my mum would love to see him. I know it says it's a public interview, and since a lot of undergrads won't be around and they're usually the people who go to these things I'd imagine that it really is open to the public - but I still used my old TCD email address just in case!

    Hi all,
Did anyone manage to secure tix for this event? I applied for 2 within an hour of receiving the mail, but have heard nothing since.

Same here- applied within 20 minutes of the email being circulated and haven't heard a peep since. Oh well, it is Trinity, all in its own good time.....

I hear ya, Trinity wouldn't be the greatest when it comes to communication. Studied there for the last 4 years, and the only communication I received was their bills.

ok, i got an email back saying there was a huge demand, so no tix for me.

If there is anyone who has a spare ticket I would be so grateful, it's not for me... I can live.. it's for my sister who has only 2 screen idols... Marilyn Monroe and Robert Redford.. not much i can do about the former.. but please, some kind soul... this would be the gift of a lifetime. Thanks. (I applied for tickets too, but wasn't that lucky either!)
