    Hiya,

Im looking at buying an irish reg car from germany at a huge discount. No VRT due.

Bit worried at whether I should buy it, I need obviously to get it inspected and to check whether any finance is owed or if it has been stolen.

Can anybody tell me how to do & shipping this and what other advice they have???

    Thanks a lot
    Stephen

Have to admit I do know someone driving on Irish plates while on placement in Germany at the moment though.

It is possible that it's not a scam. Highly unlikely though, especially with the mention of shipping.

If they mention escrow, run away.

There seems to be alot of people falling for this scam lately. This must be encouraging for all the scam artists out there. Ireland must be a soft touch.

Maybe the Government should be putting out public notices or TV ads about these type of scams.

This is exactly why i'm going to just register my Irish car on Dutch plates and drive it till it stops.

You say RHD + Netherlands and people think your scamming them from the word go !
