    Yeah, I was getting something similar myself last night.

    Looks like part of the database is corrupt (which is why it only occurs for some forums/threads).

    Cultie, actual error is "Got error 134 from storage engine
    Error Number : 1030";

    Google suggests that something as simple as REPAIR TABLE or myisamcheck should work. Pinch of salt.
