Any good PSP games

    So I bought a PSP, mainly wanted it for watching vids in bed but I might buy a game for it , may as well seems as thats what it's for, whats THE psp game to have played ?

    God of War, Loco Roco, Papaton, Hot Shots Golf, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, Exit, Crush.

    Well it depends what you're into really. I'll break it down by genre for ya.

    Racing: WipeOut Pure and WipOut Pulse are brilliant, Ridge Racer got very good reviews.

    Fighting: Tekken: Dark Resurrection.

    RPG: There are a f*ckton of RPGs for PSP. Depends whether you like Japanese RPGs or Western ones really. Try Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, Final Fantasy Tactics or X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse. Crisis Core is the big release at the moment - I loved it, some people didn't.

    Platformers: Daxter, Rachet and Clank: Size Matters.

    Action: Try GTA:Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories. Haven't played them but I always hear people recommending them. The Syphon Filter games for PSP are very good, Logon's Shadow is pretty good. God of War: Chains of Olympus is brilliant, get that if you liked the other 2 God of War games.

    Puzzle: Lumines 1 or 2, absolutely brilliant, I play these in bed all time. Crush is a brilliant 3D/2D puzzler, it actually gets really hard half way through.

    Sports: I don't play sports games (Prefer to actually, you know, *play* them) so if sports games are your thing maybe someone else can help ya.

    Odd games: LocoRoco and Patapon are brilliant. I play these all the time on the bus and Luas, they're just so much fun and the kind of games that only work on the PSP. I downloaded Beats from the Playstation Store, I really like that. It's kind of like a dance mat game except you play with your own music on your Pro Duo card and keep the beat with the face buttons. I play that a lot on the bus, and it was only 8 euro.

    Check MetaCritic for a list of all the PSP games ever released and the average review scores they got.
