I assume hes saying they will prop. release a season 4 ''part 1'' dvd this autuem/winter because of the gap between airing first 10 eps and the last few.

Season 2 was split into 2 box-sets in the U.S., season 2.0 and season 2.5. The RRP for each half was $50. Compared to $60 for all of season 3. There's no way they're going to hold off until next year for a complete box-set so yeah I expect the season will be split and they'll charge us (almost) full price for each half.

I got the full 2nd series, unbroken, region 2 and 4, from cdwow.ie
I'm sure it won't be split worldwide
And besides, prices drop. Even if they're unavailable as one big series, they'll be reduced online swiftly enough

Don't be surprised to see "extended never aired versions" or "deleted scenes" too to boost DVD sales while the series is on mid season break.

I'm actually amazed they didn't just call Season 4.5 actually Season 5 due to the length in the mid season break. From a purely marketing perspective it would have made sense.

Yeah I got the R1s so as to stay consistent with my season 1 ntsc boxset. The split was annoying; I notice they still haven't released a full season 2 box-set in r1.

I dunno, given the 7/8 month gap between the first and second half I think it almost definitely will be split. There's no way they're going to wait until, what, August/September 2009 to release all of season 4 when they can release the first 10 eps on dvd this year. The complete box-set will arrive later. Like bazz said, what we're calling the last 11 eps of season 4 could really be considered season 5. Unless they decide to only release 1-10 on r1, which is possible I guess.

Hey man, my season 2 has an extended version of pegasus (it runs about an hour) i though that was fairly standard for region 2. Alto my season1 and 3 have nothing.

R2 do have the extended version of Pegasus, they just doesn't have the original shorter version. But yeah the R1s are better overall.

Yeah I saw that and right beside it they had season 1 on its own for 50 euro. Didnt make any sense to me.
