Wireless troubles

    hi, have an netopia router with eircom broadband, works fine when plugged into computer but no other computer picks up on it (suposd to be wireless?) grateful for any help

    If you look on the white sticker underneath it'll say what model you are using, which is?
    Also, have you been able to check that wireless is enabled on the config page? Type in http://192.168.1.254/ in a browser to connect to it.

    Can you confirm that the wireless is actually switched on in the router?

    Have you just got it recently? If not was it working before and did you change anything?

    How many pcs laptops are you trying to connect?

    If you have confirmed that the wireless is on try changing the channel no to 1 temporarily anyways

    Is wireless. Did you see the config page?

    Btw, you need to switch on wireless on computer too.
    Start/Setting/Network Connections and rightclick Wireless Network Connection.
    Choose enable
